About The Camp Program:
An inclusion summer DAY camp in which children with autism, age 5 to 19, may learn social and communication skills alongside their typically developing peers. Trained staff will facilitate social opportunities among campers, who participate in activities including swimming, art, yoga, music and noncompetitive sports, in a structured yet informative environment.
Siblings and peers provide positive role models for campers with autism while learning the value of friendship.
The deadline for registration is June 15. Applications received after that date will be accepted at the camp director's discretion.
Required forms:
Suffolk County Department of Health regulations require that we have a completed registration form and health form on file at the camp.
If forms are not received by the first day of camp, we will not be able to accommodate the child. If you cannot print the forms, please contact us and we will mail them to you.
Financial Aid
Tuition assistance is available. If needed, please submit a financial aid form, along with required supporting documentation.
Counselors In Training
We will be building on our successful CIT program, which allows campers age 14 to 17 to assist our counselors in a supervised capacity by adding a new junior counselor position for those campers who are more independent. Successful junior counselors could be considered for future employment at the camp.
Email the camp director to discuss eligibility at hello@fpf4autism.org
